Building out the perfect investor round
Find the investors who are actually writing checks: which firms have recently raised, who is raising right now, what they fund, and how much they have filed. Every figure traced to an SEC filing.

Activity is filed board seats in the last 24 months: 4+ Active, 2–3 Selective, 1 Slowing, none Quiet. On a firm it is the total across its partners, so an active firm may be four partners taking one seat each rather than one person moving fast. It undercounts partners who invest without taking a board seat, and Form D lags a closing by weeks — so Quiet means the paperwork is quiet, not the person.
Where this comes from
762,572 filings
Every number on this site is something a filer put on a form. No survey, no scraped press release, no model asked to remember what a fund raised.
What we read
Every Form D filed with the SEC from 2009 to 2026 Q2 — 762,572 filings and 2,935,560 person-records, indexed locally. Form D is what a fund must file when it raises from private investors, and what a company must file when it sells stock in a round.
How a firm is built
Start from a firm’s own fund vehicles. Every fund names its related persons, so the roster is timestamped — who signed Fund III is not who signed Fund I. Follow those people to the boards they are named on, and the portfolio falls out of the filings rather than out of a website.
What we threw away
Ready to run the round?
This directory says who is raising and what they fund. Lev turns that into a target list in your own pipeline, with the story and the materials to go with it.
